Come and learn about circuit and paper engineering in Make Anything’s electric pop-up card workshop!
Next Sunday we have a very exciting workshop lead by Guest Maker Fawn Qiu from Project Make Anything. Combine paper craft with simple electronic circuitry to create pictures that glow and holiday cards that truly twinkle.
We will have two sessions that go from 1:30-3:00 and 3:30-5:00. Each session is limited to 12 participants who must be 10 years of age or older. Tickets cost $10 per participant ($8 for NYSCI Members). Register on the day of event at the NYSCI admissions area.
If you have any questions about Makerspace programming write to Reid firstname.lastname@example.org.
This event will now be taking place on November 24, 2013.
The Maker Space is a learning environment where children, teens, adults and families can tinker, design, and create together.
In our workshops we use real tools to make real things and re-use everyday materials in exciting ways. From woodworking and plaster casting to electronics and 3D printing, we encourage experimentation, open-ended exploration, and believe that making mistakes is a great way to learn.
Our workshops are hands on and can get messy, so when you come to a class, don't wear your favorite shirt!
